Inter Milan survived a sensational second half at the San Siro to beat bayern Munich 4-3 on aggregate and set up a Champions League semi-final against Barcelona.
Harry Kane drove Bayern into the lead after a goalless first 45 minutes but Inter rallied superbly to score through Lautaro Martineez and Benjamin Pavard.
Another former Tottenham Hotspur man Eric Dier drifted in a header to level the game on the night but despite late pressure the German side could not find a way through.

Inter – who also beat Bayern in the final in 2010 – made the final in 2023 and were beaten by Manchester City.
They have shown over the two legs that they will again be a force to reckon with.
Kane looked to have made the difference when he fired in low and hard from a narrow angle inside the area but Inter have their own premier marksman and Martinez was alert to stab in a bouncing ball as Bayern couldn’t deal with a corner.
Pavard, who previously played for Bayern, punished them again at a set piece with a powerful header. And while Dier looped in his first goal in the Champions League and Serge Gnabry went close, Inter held on, showing the resilience that helped them concede just once in eight group games.
